How to beat “Jelly” Levels on Candy Crush Saga
Jelly levels are one of five different types of levels in Candy Crush Saga. This level type’s icon is blue with a white square around it and they are the most common level type. Jelly levels make up about 331 levels, or 43%! They are considered the hardest type of all 5. Some examples of jelly levels are: 70, 125, 167, 290, 323, 350, 410, 461, 549, 617 and many more!
Your objective in these is to clear all the jelly in only 60 moves, removing all of the jelly on the board. You do this by making a match with a piece of candy on top of the jelly. Once you reach higher levels, you can sometimes get stuck on double jelly levels. On those levels you have to make two matches on top of a square of jelly in order to clear it from the board!
How To Beat Jelly Levels:
Your only objective on these levels is to clear the jelly. That means you should be focused on making matches on top of the jelly squares only. Jelly squares at the top of the board and at the corners can be tricky, since these are the hardest spot to match candies. Watch out for these, and try to clear the board first.
If you can’t make a match on top of the jelly, try using jelly fish! They act like normal candies and allow you to match them with other candies of the same color. When you make a match with a jelly fish, it will swim off the screen and new jelly fish will swim on screen and eat three of your jelly squares. For any double jelly squares, this will count as one match. Even If jelly is stuck under a blocker that isn’t licorice, the jelly fish will eat the jelly from under the blocker!
